Milan Pole Dance Studio is a pole fitness gym in Miami, FL -and fledgling small business trying to expand it’s social media reach. I created these 15 second videos specifically for the company’s social media marketing efforts, Instagram specifically (@mpdsmiami).
According to Fast Company, “A recent study by Forrester Research found that Instagram users were 58 times more likely to like, comment, or share a brand’s post than Facebook users and 120 times more likely than Twitter users. All data indicates that users are moving away from Twitter and Facebook and shifting their time to Instagram. This absolutely proves that Instagram is the best social and mobile platform for brands to reach audiences that are willing to engage. If you’re not marketing on Instagram, you’re missing out.”
Creating content specifically for social media brings it’s own unique challenges, especially when restricted to a 15 second video platform. It also forces me to cut creatively and use only the best shots. The video must also be able to stand alone without audio -so visuals are king here. In todays’s world of micro attention spans and macro Instagram engagement, curated social media video is an amazing tool for brands hoping to highlight visual content and market to potential customers.
